Lake Orta is the first destination in Italy for a Michelin-starred restaurant
TripAdvisor has just revealed its list of the best restaurants in the world, among them we can find an Italian one, a very particular venue: Villa Crespi, on the shores of Lake Orta.
In 1879 Cristoforo Benigno Crespi, a pioneer in the cotton industry, ordered the construction of that magnificent Moorish-style villa, surrounded by a lovely green park where he would have overlooked his beloved Lake Orta.
Run by the Michelin-starred chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, the restaurant menu focuses on the Italian regions of Piedmont and Campania and it has a wide range of 1,800 wines approximately to choose from.
Next March 2019 the Cannavacciuolos will celebrate their 20th birthday at Villa Crespi!
